Three limited-time burgers, created by True Food Kitchen's chefs across the country, take center stage for Father's Day weekend
SCOTTSDALE, AZ / ACCESS Newswire / June 5, 2026 / True Food Kitchen is serving up a bold, flavor-forward way to celebrate Father's Day with a limited-time lineup of three chef-crafted burgers, available across all locations from June 15th through June 21st. Created by chefs from True Food Kitchen restaurants across the country, each burger brings a unique point of view to a classic favorite, making it the perfect way to gather, indulge, and celebrate.
At the center of the weekend are three new burgers, each personally crafted by a True Food Kitchen chef and inspired by their personal style and flavors:
Truffle Mushroom Burger ($21.95) - Created by Chef Elias from Arlington, VA this rich, indulgent option combines organic 100% grass-fed beef with aged white cheddar, roasted wild mushrooms, truffle and roasted jalapeño aioli, and red onion
Mediterranean Turkey Burger ($21.95) - Created by Chef Eric from Tucson, AZ this lighter take on a classic features Diestel Farms turkey, feta, red pepper pistachio spread, tzatziki, cucumbers, and organic spinach
Smoked Gouda Smash Burger ($22.95) - From Chef Irwin in Cherry Creek, CO, this bold, craveable burger is stacked with organic 100% grass-fed beef, caramelized onions, smoked gouda, house-made spicy ranch, pickles, and butter lettuce
Each burger is served with air-fried French fries and peri peri ketchup.
A Nationwide Contest to Find the Fathers Behind the Flavors
The three burgers on this year's Father's Day menu weren't developed in a corporate test kitchen - they were born from a nationwide internal contest inviting True Food Kitchen's own dad chefs to submit original burger concepts inspired by their personal flavor stories, family traditions, and the ingredients they love most. Submissions were evaluated on creativity, ingredient integrity, flavor balance, and brand alignment, with three winning recipes selected from Arlington, VA, Tucson, AZ, and Cherry Creek, CO.
The initiative was rooted in a simple idea: Father's Day is a cultural moment, and True Food Kitchen wanted to honor it authentically. Not just by putting burgers on the menu, but by celebrating the real people behind the food. The result is a limited-time lineup where every recipe carries a story, a sense of place, and a point of view that goes well beyond the plate.
The limited-time menu also reflects the continued evolution of the burger as both a comfort staple for True Food and a canvas for culinary creativity. From globally inspired ingredients like tzatziki, feta, and pistachio to indulgent touches like truffle and smoked gouda, the lineup balances familiarity with bold flavor. At the same time, the focus on responsibly sourced proteins, including organic, 100% grass-fed beef and thoughtfully raised turkey, highlights True Food Kitchen's commitment to ingredient integrity without sacrificing craveability.
'Father's Day is about great food and time well spent together,' said Matthew Padilla, SVP of Culinary of True Food Kitchen. 'This limited time lineup brings that to life in a way that feels both familiar and elevated. Each burger reflects the creativity of our dad chefs and gives guests something worth coming in for.'
