LUGANO, SWITZERLAND / ACCESSWIRE / November 26, 2020 / Blockchain software company Jelurida has started developing an on-chain version of the popular strategy game, Bridge. Bridge Champ will automate the historic card game's core functions, enabling Bridge clubs to run competitions and generate revenue efficiently.
Dubbed the Chess of cards, Bridge is a complex game that requires sophistication, risk management, and smart strategizing. In the internet era, it has been reborn as an online game that is enjoyed globally, with top players earning prize money for winning tournaments. However, two platform providers dominate the online Bridge space, so the lack of competition has resulted in a closed system that is not optimized for competition play and does not support Whitelabel solutions.
Jelurida's Bridge Champ provides a purpose-built, customizable environment for Bridge players. It combines a state-of-the-art gaming engine with open APIs that enable competition organization and implementation. Its user interface will combine social elements such as video and audio sharing, gamification, and tokenization to sustain a profitable business.
Built on Ignis, the first child blockchain to run on Ardor, the game will feature:
'Jelurida has partnered with Bridge Online Academy, the experts in Bridge online training, to develop a groundbreaking bridge play and tournaments engine,' explained Jelurida CEO Lior Yaffe. 'Bridge Online Academy is providing Jelurida with technical consulting about game and tournament design, and helps with forming connections with club owners and opinion leaders.'
'Jelurida's is developing an ecosystem around game tokens that will be available for use to other casual gaming platforms.'
Jelurida has now begun developing Bridge Champ in conjunction with Bridge Online Academy, ushering in a new era for tournament Bridge.
