Still hesitating what to wear for Christmas? Or worry about what gift to give? Our Virtual Holiday has launched Ugly Christmas sweater T-shirt, hoodies and mugs with 2020 PUNdemic theme.
Marietta, GA (Merxwire) - Christmas needs to bring joy! The gift designer of Our Virtual Holiday has released 13 PUNdemic Ugly Christmas Sweater t-shirts, which can help you become the focus of the festival and bring laughter to everyone.
Our Virtual Holiday team put forward the concept of "Social Christmasing" during lockdown in the spring. Since then, they have been actively designing designs in line with the 2020 theme, and all the interesting patterns and creativity come from this.
"We knew that this Christmas was going to be like no other," owner James Brandon said. "At the time, 'social distancing' was new to all of us, but quickly becoming a way of life. Transitioning that to 'Social Christmasing' seemed pretty natural - even in April we had a feeling that we wouldn't be able to celebrate the 2020 Christmas season the same as in years past".
Co-owners Brandon and Carrie Rigsby started to work on ideas based around making Ugly Christmas Sweater t-shirts and hoodies.
"One of the funniest traditions that everyone can still participate in is the Ugly Christmas Sweater," Rigsby said. "You can wear a t-shirt or hoodie with an Ugly Christmas Sweater design every day and make people smile…even if you can only see smiling eyes with masks on. That reminds me, we designed a beautiful collection of Christmas-themed Face Masks that are also going to be a big hit this year".
The collection includes main character, Corona Claus. A jovial cute Santa Claus wearing a Face Mask. Corona Claus headlines the anchor of the collection, title Social Christmasing and the best seller of the line, Stay Elfy!
"When Santa is checking his list this year, he's going to want to see that you're wearing a face mask and 'staying elfy' to protect your friends and family!" Rigsby continued.
Other designs in the Ugly Christmas Sweater collectionУТ include:
-УТ Ham Sanitizer: a cute pig-shaped hand sanitizer bottle
-УТ Quarantine 15 SnowmanУТ who packed on a few pounds during the lockdowns
-УТ 2020 SnowflakeУТ made from the highlights of the year
-УТ Self Icicle-AtionУТ featuring a super cool icicle who knows how to social distance
- TheУТ Social Christmasing WreathУТ made from all of the essentials: toilet paper, hand sanitizer, measuring tape and a face mask
- 2020 Oh Deer (https://ourvirtualholiday.com/product-category/christmas-gifts/2020-oh-deer/)УТ highlighting Rudolph's exasperation
- The Ultimate Ugly Christmas Sweater (https://ourvirtualholiday.com/product-category/christmas-gifts/ugly-christmas-sweater-2020-edition/) that turns the best of the collection into a Brady-style grid.
Of all of the designs, the pair is most excited about the 12 Days of Covid (https://ourvirtualholiday.com/product-category/christmas-gifts/12-days-of-covid/): a rewrite of the 12 Days of Christmas penned by Brandon. One of OVH's first Brand Ambassador partners, comedy musician Sarah Hester Ross, performed the song and created a video released across all social media platforms that received over 10,000 views in the first 2 hours of it's posting.
One important point the team reiterated is how seriously they take the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Every single person across the world has been impacted by the pandemic and our own lives have changed dramatically,"УТ Brandon said. "The adage that laughter is the best medicine rings true during this time and when we're all facing having to celebrate Christmas in a new way, we wanted to make designs that acknowledge the reality of 2020 while celebrating the spirit of the holiday at a distance. There are so many families who have suffered tremendous loss and we want to bring some levity to the extreme heaviness that is surrounding us all".
