Luxembourg, EU (Merxwire) - Alter Domus, a provider of fund integration and corporate services, recently announced its ISO 22301 certification, which is recognized by the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB), indicating that Alter Domus has the ability to maintain its business at a service level and meet Requirements of the International Standards Organization Business Continuity Management (BCM).
What is ISO 22301? It is the management system standard for BCM and enables continuous operations to show top management that recognized standards have been achieved and can be used by organizations of all sizes and types. ISO 22301 proves to lawmakers, regulators, customers, potential customers, and others that Alter Domus will adhere to BCM good practices.
The Alter Domus Group's Business Continuity Management process has been implemented and successfully structured to be eligible for ISO certification by Gianni Ragni, Group BC Head under the oversight of Stephane Bourg, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. The requirement for ISO certification has been identified at Alter Domus as a signal to our clients, both existing and prospective, that Alter Domus is fully capable of providing continuous support and service, a factor that is ranked very highly amongst clients requirements.
This certification that Alter Domus has received covers its headquarters in Luxembourg as well as 20 other offices across 17 countries in both the EMEA and APAC regions. Alter Domus is the first company of its kind to receive this accreditation in Luxembourg. Alter Domus's continued adherence to this standard will be assessed annually.
Stephane Bourg, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, said, "As a trusted financial services provider, we recognise the threat of IT and other major disruptions and the damage they can do to our organisation. As business continuity continues to become a larger risk area in vendor risk management, we have the ability to demonstrate that we have controls in place to provide critical operations to our clients in all circumstances."
